ANDREW STEVENS, FRICS

It is with great sadness we announce that former partner Andrew Stevens died peacefully at home on 24th November 2017 at the age of 75.

Andrew was one of the firm’s founding partners, setting it up with Simon Marr-Johnson in 1979. He had a varied practice, carrying out commercial valuations for tax and landlord & tenant purposes, residential development appraisals and asset management. He stepped down from the partnership in 2007 and retired as a consultant in 2011.

Outside of work Andrew had a wide variety of interests, chief among which was his love of motor cars, and he enjoyed a long association, personal and professional, with Bristol Cars in particular. In retirement he and his wife Jackie divided their time between London and Dorset.

Andrew was given a private family funeral on 6th December, and a service of thanksgiving will be held in due course, details of which we will publish here when they are known.

If any of Andrew’s many friends and business contacts would like to write, please send any letters care of us at 1 Garrick House, Carrington Street, London W1J 7AF, or email to info@m-js.co.uk. In the meantime we send our deepest condolences to Jackie, to Andrew’s children Alexander and Samatha, and to his four grandchildren.
